'What's up with the blog?!"
Finally an answer to many folk’s question…’what’s up with the blog?’
Well I don’t think I’ve posted since February-time has flown by! despite my visions of writing long descriptive prose about all of the fun things the Ruthvens would be doing with all the free time after grad school graduation…I was shocked to learn that finding and applying for jobs is in fact a full time job-aaahhhh!
So, not much free time since the semester ended but we have indeed been very busy. We drove out to North Carolina for April vacation and stayed in Raleigh with the Johnson’s which was so much fun, then spent a couple of days at an indoor water park (yeehaw) and next onto Asheville where we enjoyed the sites and sounds of an amazingly beautiful and culturally fabulous town.
We had great photos and videos of quality time with Maya & Ava, water park adventures, a trip to the zoo and the breathtaking Biltmore during the festival of flowers but had a little ‘delete all’ mishap thanks to little helping hands…so you’ll just have to close your eyes and imagine it, or as the ever optimist Todd convinced me-it just gives us an excuse to do it all over again!
